The FY 2008 704 Report is identical to the one approved in 2006, except for changes in the race and ethnicity sections in subpart II.These changes were required by the Office of Management of Budget and Budget, as reflected in the U.S. Department of Education’s final guidance published in the Federal Register on October 19, 2007.Race and ethnicity reporting directions have been incorporated in the revised 704 Report instructions. RSA will conduct a national 704 Report training for DSUs and SILCs on November 20, 2008.Both sessions will be from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, Eastern Time.Details are provided below. Starting November 7, 2008, DSUs, SILCs and CILs will be able to complete and submit the 704 Report directly online through the RSA Management Information System (MIS).

Synopsis: Part 2 of the 704 Report is to be completed by Part C-funded centers for independent living (CILs). This session covers latest changes to the form as required by the Office of Management of Budget.
