The CAPS (Career Ability Placement Survey) is a battery of eight five-minute ability tests for general aptitude.  The battery was developed as a system for ability measurement which may be used in conjuction with measures of interests and the resultant career clusters provided in the California Occupationa Perference System (DOPSystem).  The battery includes: Machanical Reasoning, Spatial Relatios, Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Language Usage, Word Knowledge, Perceptiual Speed and Accuracy, and Maanual Speed and Dexterity.
